The highlight bottle for June's bowel cancer auction is this exceptional 11 year old hand filled single cask from Starward. Matured in a 2nd fill French oak Apera cask, this is the oldest age stated Starward released as of writing. It was hand bottled exclusively for this charity auction at 63.1% Abv and is a true one of one bottling.

This lot has kindly been donated by Starward for June’s featured charity auction, which is proudly supporting Bowel Cancer Australia.

The charity lots were organized by Brendan Moynihan who was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer in December 2022. Shockingly, 15,531 people are diagnosed with bowel cancer each year, and it claims more lives than breast cancer or prostate cancer, affecting men and women almost equally. However, with early detection, almost 99% of cases can be successfully treated.
