A 1976 single cask expression of the closed distillery Glenugie matured for 27 years and bottled in 2003 by Signatory Vintage. Cask #2700 was bottled at 51.1% Abv in Signatory's widely sought after dumpy bottles. Sadly closed in 1983 amid the Scotch whisky industry's downturn, Glenugie's site was purchased by two north sea oil firms who used the space for warehousing. In 2018 the final Glenugie warehouse was demolished and nothing of the original distillery remains.
