One of the rarest expressions of Beam whiskey ever bottled, this limited edition was distilled in 1990 and bottled in 1998 as a celebration of 10 years of Bookers bourbon. Launched in 1987, Booker's bourbon was started by the namesake for the brand, Frederick Booker Noe. The first bourbon to use the term 'Small Batch', the Booker's line was introduced as a curated and unfiltered barrel proof expression that highlighted the quality of Beam's style as well as Noe's masterful blending skills. The efforts of Frederick Noe and the likes of Elmer T Lee at Buffalo Trace helped to reinvigorate the bourbon industry in the early 1990s, after more than a decade of extreme decline as many consumers had moved to white spirits such as vodka. This expression is aged for exactly 8 years and the more recent 25th and 30th anniversary Booker's expressions have seen incredble demand amongst enthusiasts. This 10th anniversary bottling has only been seen at European auction three tines, so we are very excited to feature this bottling.
