A 2019 single barrel release of Michter's Kentucky bourbon whiskey. An exceptionally rare expression, Michter's originally began by sourcing spirit from producers such as Willet and Old Forester. Since they have begun producing, their own spirit has begun entering their bottlings. A huge age statement, 20 year old bourbons are few and far between. Considering the age of this expression it is likely that this bourbon was sourced from early producers that helped Michter's such as Willet, Heaven Hill, Old Forester or Barton 1792. An incredibly sought after product, allocation for this release has dropped to just a hand full each year, proving this bottling to be a true unicorn.

Originally having roots in Pennsylvania before being closed in the late 80's, the brand was revived just before 2000 utilising sourced whisky from various distilleries. They then moved to contract distillation, rumoured to be at the Old Forester distillery, before their own site was completed in 2016 and the Fort Nelson experience opened in 2019 for visitors.

How much do we pay on top of the bid price?
The buyer's premium is 10% of the final hammer price (inc GST).
Our flat rate shipping across the country starts at $14 for 1 bottles, $20 for 2 and slightly increases from there.
We accept bank transfers (no fees) and debit/credit cards (stripe charges 1.75% visa/mastercard) for payments
Do You Offer Insurance for Loss/Breakage?
The cost of Loss & Breakage Insurance is 1.5% of the hammer price plus commission. This is highly recommended as we will take the upmost care in packaging the dispatching orders carefully and securely, the courier companies will however not take on any liability for items lost or broken in transit.
How Long Until Delivery?
Once payment is received by the Australian Whisky Auctions, your whisky will be dispatched within 5 business days from our warehouse in Melbourne, Victoria.
