A 1982 single cask expression of the legendary closed distillery Port Ellen. Matured for 35 years in sherry butt #2040, it was bottled for Signatory vintage's 30th anniversary. A distillery name that is synonymous with quality, Port Ellen sadly closed its doors 1983 and was a victim of the 1980s Scotch whisky crisis. As casks have dwindled, the demand for Port Ellen has been huge with owner Diageo still providing well aged bottlings. Plans to revive the distillery have begun and new stills and buildings are gradually being installed at the old site.

How much do we pay on top of the bid price?
The buyer's premium is 10% of the final hammer price (inc GST).
Our flat rate shipping across the country starts at $14 for 1 bottles, $20 for 2 and slightly increases from there.

Do You Offer Insurance for Loss/Breakage?
The cost of Loss & Breakage Insurance is 1.5% of the hammer price plus commission. This is highly recommended as we will take the upmost care in packaging the dispatching orders carefully and securely, the courier companies will however not take on any liability for items lost or broken in transit.
How Long Until Delivery?
Once payment is received by the Australian Whisky Auctions, your whisky will be dispatched within 5 business days from our warehouse in Melbourne, Victoria.
