Daftmill 2008 12 Year Old Winter Batch 2020 Release

A 2008 vintage of Daftmill whisky aged for 12 years, a relatively new distillery that was founded in 2005. One of Scotland's smallest distilleries, Daftmill is in exceptionally high demand amongst both collectors and drinkers alike. Located in the Lowlands on the Cuthbert family farm, Daftmill is a genuine grain to glass distillery with all the barley grown on the estate. Whisky making is reserved for only 2 months in the year with typical farm operations taking place in the other 10 months. Despite starting production in 2005, it wasn't until 2018 that Daftmill released their first whisky, a 12 year old ex-bourbon cask bottling.
